Medical Massage

The following are clothed massages without oil unless otherwise specified. Please wear close-fitting comfortable clothing such as sweatpants, a tee shirt, stretchy pants, shorts, or a tank top.

Neck and Shoulder Release

Our signature combination of trigger point work and myofascial release focuses on tension in the upper body. This massage can be targeted toward the face, head, shoulders, and neck to relax stressed muscles and relieve sinus congestion, TMJ pain, and headaches.

Back Pain Relief

Designed for low back and sciatic-type pain, this session combines trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue work, and stretches to bring vitality back to your back.

Posture Assessment and Body Work

This session starts with a detailed posture analysis to identify asymmetries and imbalances contributing to pain or dysfunction. The second half uses trigger point and myofascial release techniques for focused pain relief.

Whole Body Revival

Wolf Moon’s signature medical massage combines trigger point therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, and passive stretching. It can address specific issues or serve as a maintenance option for overall well-being.

Common Techniques

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy, also called trigger point therapy, uses clinical techniques to address trigger points, restricted fascia, entrapped nerves, pain, and dysfunction.

Trigger Points

A trigger point is commonly described as a hyper-irritable nodule or taut band in a muscle that can refer pain or sensation to other areas of the body.

Osteo-Articular Pumping

Osteo-articular pumping is a gentle osteopathic technique that works with soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, bursae, and synovial membranes.

Myofascial Stretching and Release

Myofascial release and stretching use steady hands-on pressure to release restrictions in muscle and fascia that may impair range of motion or contribute to pain.
